Museum at the Bighorns Featuring Native American Exhibit Through the End of the Year
An exhibit showcasing Native American women will be shown at the Museum at the Bighorns in Sheridan through the end of the year.
As a recent guest on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Museum Director of Operations Chip King highlighted what visitors to the museum will see in the exhibit.
King said the museum will have a special presentation next month featuring Deanne Harragarra and WYO Rodeo Queen Isabella Yellowtail.
A plaque dedication will also be happening at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds on September 19, and King gave more details.
Starting September 1 the museum will have new hours, opening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and closing on Sunday.
New designs and new exhibits will be coming after the first of the year, and we will have more on that in an upcoming story.
