State Canvassing Board to Meet Wednesday
The Wyoming State Canvassing Board will convene on Wednesday at 10:00 am for the 2026 Primary Election. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more.
The State Canvassing Board meets to review and examine the precinct-by-precinct results, the presentation of any write-in candidates, and the winning candidates in each partisan primary. The Secretary of State’s Office works with Wyoming’s 23 County Clerks in overseeing and administering Wyoming’s elections.
Each county’s election results are first canvassed by county canvassing boards before being submitted to the Secretary of State’s Office. While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Commissioner Nick Siddle offered high praise to the County’s Election Department.
There were 10,090 ballots cast in Sheridan County for last week’s Primary Election. You can view the results here.
