City Council Awards Bid for Pavement Rehabilitation Project

A bid award recommendation for a large pavement rehabilitation project in Sheridan was an agenda item at this week’s Sheridan City Council business meeting. The Council approved the bid award for the Terra-Turner Rotomill and Overlay Project to Simon Contractors in the amount of $2.5 million. City Engineer Thomas Morneau said the project is located in the Sheridan Avenue, Riverside Street, Terra Avenue, and Turner Avenue area.

Morneau said the project is funded by CAP Tax, GPET, Water Utility, and Public Benefit funds. The City received two bids for the project, with Simon Contractors being the lowest qualified bid.
