Sheridan County Commission OKs Submission of CMAQ Application

During their regular meeting Tuesday, Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered a Resolution to authorize the submission of an application for Federal funding through the Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) program for the 2027 CMAQ Dust Suppression project.

According to information in the online Agenda, the county will request $368,000 and set aside $92,000 for the 20% local match for the project.

If awarded, the county must use the funds before December 31, 2029.

The commission voted to approve the Resolution to submit the application.
