BPD Chief Gives Latest to Buffalo Council on Injured Officer

Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett updated the city council on the status of Cody Thomas, who was involved in a car crash that sent him to the hospital and killed the driver of the other vehicle.

Bissett wanted to thank everyone that reached out to check on Officer Thomas.

He did share that Thomas’ first thought after regaining consciousness was to try to check on the other driver.

Bissett wrapped by saying, “I just thought that was an outstanding thing to hear him say.”
