GPET Funds Help Conservation District Protect Water and Land Quality

The Sheridan County Conservation District is one of the government agencies that receives funding from the City of Sheridan General Purpose Excise Tax. District Manager Carrie Rogaczewski recently provided an update on the organization to the Sheridan City Council. She talked about what the GPET funds they receive are primarily used for.

The Sheridan City Council at a business meeting in April of 2025,  approved General Purpose Excise Tax service agreements with 17 different nonprofit and governmental agencies for a total of $484,500 in allocations.
