Governor Commends Work of Ag Initiative Working Group

Governor Mark Gordon recently weighed-in on the work being done by an agricultural working group. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

At halftime of the Wyoming Cowboys Football game on October 11, 2025, Governor Mark Gordon announced the Cowboy State Agriculture Initiative. The Governor’s video message coincided with Agriculture and Energy Day at the University of Wyoming. During the recent State of the State, Governor Gordon took a moment to commend the Cowboy State Agriculture Initiative working group.

The 13-person working group consists of executive branch advisors, state legislators, county commissioners, agricultural association representatives, University of Wyoming officials and business leaders who are focused on enhancing and preserving Wyoming’s agricultural heritage.
