2026 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Competition To Be A Part Of Rodeo Playoff Series
The Sheridan WYO Rodeo will be a stop on the 2026 Playoff Series presented by Pendleton Whisky in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
The year-long schedule features the 60 highest paying rodeos in the sport.
The Playoff Series will culminate with the Cinch Playoffs in Puyallup, WA, followed by the Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls, SD presented by Texas Precious Metal.
The Playoff Series accounted for more than $28 million in payouts in 2025 and is expected to
increase again in 2026.
“There are over 650 PRCA rodeos each year and the Sheridan WYO Rodeo is ranked in the top 25 rodeos in the US. Being included in the Playoff Series recognizes Sheridan’s achievement in providing one of the highest quality events for professional rodeo and Indian Relay Race athletes, personnel, volunteers, sponsors, fans and our community. The Sheridan WYO Rodeo is owned by our community and the event’s success is a direct result of the support we receive from them,” states Sheridan WYO Rodeo President Hayden Heaphy.
In 2025 the Sheridan WYO Rodeo set attendance record sellouts for all four performances and record-breaking payout of over $515,000.
Sheridan WYO Rodeo week will take place July 6th – 12th, with four rodeo performances July 8th -11th, starting at 7:00pm nightly with the World Championship Indian Relay Races.
