JCSD1 Board Approves Employment Recommendations for December
The Johnson County School Board has approved and accepted the employment recommendations and resignations for the month of December.
Approved were Amy Caturia as assistant girls basketball coach at Buffalo High School, replacing Holly Caruchet; Caige McComb as assistant track coach at BHS, replacing Pete Dahlbrg; and Jay Camino as assistant wrestling coach at BHS, replacing Jason Tomich (one year only).
Also accepted were the resignations from Jason Tomich, assistant wrestling coach at BHS, effective immediately; Dianne Fisher, high needs paraprofessional at Clear Creek Middle School, effective as of December 5; and Tempe Smith, counselor at New West high School, effective December 19.
Also in their Consent Agenda, the board approved early graduation requests from two students at New West, and the board’s meeting schedule for 2026.
