BHS Theater Company to Present ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Buffalo High School’s Theater Company will present their version of “Beauty and the Beast” later this month at the Buffalo High School Auditorium.

Director Karen Blaney tells us more about the play.

Students have been working on the play since January and were looking forward to performing this spring, but with the COVID-19 crisis it looked as if that wouldn’t happen.

They held rehearsals via virtual meeting platforms with hope they may get the chance to perform, according to Blaney.

The auditorium will be set up for social distance seating, scaling down the number of seats to roughly 200 from the normal 550 seats.

Some reserved seats can be made by contacting Blaney. We have provided her e-mail below.

Performances will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday June 25th, 26th, and 27th at 7pm each night.

The performances are free of charge, but donations to the theater department are always welcome.
