Sheridan County Extends Agreements with RMA, Johnson County
The Sheridan County Commission approved an extension of a Service Agreement between the county and Rocky Mountain Ambulance for the company to provide emergency medical services to the county.
The extension is for the original agreement from June of 2018, which allows the agreement to be extended with written agreement between the parties.
The original contract set the agreed amount the county would pay for those services at $156,000 annually for fiscal years 2018-19 and 2019-20.
The commissioners approved the agreement with Rocky Mountain Ambulance, which will be effective July 1st, 2020.
Also approved by the commission was an extension of the Cooperative Agreement between Sheridan and Johnson Counties for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.
The original agreement from 2018 established that the coordinator that was employed by Johnson County would have new additional duties in Sheridan County, with administration performed by Sheridan County.
The commission approved the extension effective July 1st.
