SAWS Calls Tuesday Emergency Meeting

The Sheridan Area Water Supply (SAWS) Joint Powers Board has announced they will have an emergency meeting Tuesday (this evening) beginning at 5 p.m. in the County Commission Meeting Room.

According to the meeting agenda, they will be discussing new business, which is consideration of Resolution No. 25-08-19, approving the application for an Emergency Mineral Royalty Grant through the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments.

SAWS is looking for funding for the Gulch Road 8-inch Water Line Project.

According to lands.wyo.gov, the Mineral Royalty Grant program awards grants to alleviate an emergency situation which poses a direct and immediate threat to public health, safety, or welfare; to comply with federal or state mandates; or to provide an essential public service.
