JCSD1 Board Recognizes Special Olympian

The Johnson County School Board recognized a local Special Olympian for an award presented to him at a recent Special Olympics event.

Kelsey Moore introduced Carson McGee to the school board and explained the award he received.

Moore also thanked the school board for their support of Special Olympics, saying a lot of districts around the state no longer support the program.

She thanked the board for their financial support to allow local athletes to compete.
