JCHC Clinic Installs Patient Point Screens

During the latest hospital board meeting for the Johnson County Healthcare Center, Family Medical Center Director Heidi Huntley reported that a new patient information system had been installed in the clinic.
She gave details on the Patient Point system.
Huntley said the system will take some time to getting used to incorporating the system into patient care, but so far she has had good feedback from patients about the new system.
In her written report to the board, Huntley said the clinic had nearly 1,459 visits in January, up from 1,430 in 2024.
There were 13 newly-established patients during the month, and 385 were seen in the walk-in clinic compared to 421 in the acute care clinic.
