Pete Mohseni from Black Mountain Nordic made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss the sport and announce events that give people opportunities to get out on the snowy trails.

Also known as cross-country skiing, Nordic skiing is a winter sport that involves gliding on skis across snow-covered trails.

Black Mountain Nordic will host the Cutler Hill Chili Feed at 11 – 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Warming Hut at Cutler Hill Nordic Trails.

Nordic skiers, snowshoers, and fat bikers are welcome. The event is free and open to the public, but donations are always welcome. The event will feature live music, free beverages, free chili and more.

This event is a great way to celebrate the end of the nordic season, according to Black Mountain Nordic President Nicholas Flores.
