JCSD1 Board Approves Employment Report for January

Aaron PalmerThe Johnson County School Board, at their regular meeting for February, approved the Employment Report for the month of January.
Recommendations included Logan Leask as assistant soccer coach at Clear Creek Middle School; and Tim Marton as assistant boys basketball coach at Buffalo High School.
The board also approved and accepted the resignations of John Hepp, head girls basketball coach at BHS, effective January 25; Michael Verdone, full-time custodian at Meadowlark Elementary, effective February 14; and Candi Long, secretary, at the Kaycee K-12 School, effective February 20.
They accepted the retirement of Heather Gorman Haas, counselor at Cloud Peak Elementary, effective at the end of the school year; and Jennifer Lompe, K-12 music teacher in Kaycee, also effective at the end of the school year.
Transfers approved were Farrah Patterson from assistant boys basketball coach to head girls basketball coach at BHS effective immediately; and Nick Smith from assistant freshman boys basketball coach to JV boys basketball coach at BHS, effective immediately.
