MRG Grant Application

The City of Sheridan may be applying for a federal grant for the purchase of a new fire apparatus for the Sheridan Fire-Rescue Department. A resolution that will soon be considered by the City Council would authorize the submission of a Federal Mineral Royalty Capital Construction Account Grant (MRG) application to help fund the new apparatus. Sheridan Fire Chief Gary Harnish.

Harnish said that General Funds will fund the match and the additional funds needed for the purchase. The City Council will be considering the resolution authorizing the submission of the grant application at an upcoming business meeting.
