State Representative for House District 40 Marilyn Connolly (R-Buffalo) talked with Sheridan Media about her first couple of weeks in this year’s legislative session.

She talked about House Bill 80, which deals with Environmental Social Governance (ESG), and what that means to the state.

Connolly said she received numerous emails from constituents that were part of the Wyoming Retirement System concerned that the bill could affect their retirement, but she said legislators were able to bring an amendment that relieves those concerns.

She added that the bill, as amended, was “a little more palatable to

everybody.”

The Minerals Committee recommended the amendment and Do Pass.

It was received for introduction on Friday in the Senate.

Hmm. Check Connolly’s votes on HB 116 Unauthorized Alien Driver Licenses, 147 Prohibition of Institutional Discrimination (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), 169 Homeowner Tax Exemption. These bills were passed by true conservatives, but she voted with Democrats against all of them. Johnson County, are you watching?
