YMCA to host basketball camp over holiday break

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday talked about the upcoming Holiday Hoops.

Hosted by YMCA Coach Sergio Troch, Cassiday said this camp is perfect for kids aged 9-13 who want to improve their skills, make new friends, and have a blast on the court.

This program will include both a boys’ and girls’ camp, bringing together kids throughout Sheridan County that may have even faced each other during the regular season. The camp will teach teamwork and cooperation as much as basketball techniques.
