Creek Side Performing Arts will present Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr. in performances in November at the Cowboy Carousel Center in Buffalo.

According to mtishows.com, “Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory or suffer the consequences.”

Creek Side’s performances will be Tuesday, November 8 and 15 at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, November 9 and 16 at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling (307) 620-2244.

The event is sponsored by the Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center, Johnson County Recreation District, Wyoming Arts Council, and presented through a special arrangement with Music Theater International.
