Downtown Sheridan Association is inviting the Sheridan County community to don their finest attire and enjoy wine from the new and old worlds during the 23rd Annual Wine Fest “Sheridan Uncorked.”
DSA Board Member and Wine Festival Co-Chair Lindsey Vredenburg said planning for the next DSA Winfest begins at the conclusion of each one.
This year patrons will have the opportunity to bid on items in a silent auction or play one of the many games that will be stationed throughout the area.
Vredenburg said not only are the auction items well worth the bids, some may be once in a lifetime opportunities.

In the past, local Sheridan artists have been invited to paint unique designs on wine glasses that have been popular auction items. Perry said this year the amount of artists donating time and their art to DSA wine glasses has doubled due to the popularity of the baskets.
Vredenburg and the team have been working with wine vendors and distillers to create a unique experience for the Sheridan community. The event is an opportunity to taste wines from around the world, enjoy and build community fellowship all while raising funds for the DSA’s mission.

Wine Fest allows the DSA the opportunity and the means to sponsor events such as the 3rd Thursday Street Festival and Sheridan in Bloom. The DSA sponsors events such as these to create community strongholds where people can come together to celebrate life in Sheridan.
Funds raised from Wine Fest also benefit the DSA’s ongoing efforts to revitalize and preserve historic downtown Sheridan. The Annual Wine Fest is a yearly event that provides crucial assets for generating downtown development projects.
