Ron RichterAt the May 6 business meeting of the Sheridan City Council, the Council approved the purchase and installation of an all-inclusive playground from Star Playgrounds in the amount of $1,036,384. The all-inclusive playground area is 18,608 square feet and is part of phase four of the Black Tooth Park Project. A bid award for the second part of phase four was approved by the City Council at their meeting Monday night. City Engineer Thomas Morneau.
The project was awarded to Axe Build, the lowest qualified bid, in the amount of $373,647.99. Morneau said the project is a budgeted item and is funded with GPET, Public Benefit and a Land Water Conservation Fund grant.
