Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 8, 1920.

Commissioner Birkhaeuser has the drag at work on the streets leading to the hospital, putting that route in the best possible condition. The long winter and unusual amounts of mud have left the streets in bad condition.

Three box cars burned on the siding at Clearmont last night. The cars were used as lodgings for track laborers, and it is assumed that the fire caught from a stove.

The present high prices of shoes is causing an unprecedented rush of business at the various shoe repair shops in Sheridan.

Donald M. Sare and Ruth M. Jenkins, both of Sheridan, have been granted a license to wed.
