The City of Buffalo and Johnson County will be hosting a public informational meeting in the coming weeks to discuss the possibility of the two entities extending water and/or sewer infrastructure to the Richardson Park Subdivision.

At the recent City/County Meeting, city council members and county commissioners discussed the possibility of having an educational “Open House” for property owners in the subdivision as well as any other interested persons to ask questions and get more information on the feasibility of a possible project, projected costs, and funding options if residents decide to pursue infrastructure.

No date, time or location has been set at this time, but according to discussion, it appears to be tentatively planned for the end of April in a larger venue such as the high school or Bomber Mountain Civic Center during the evening hours to give those interested time to be off work to attend.

Once the specifics have been set, a joint letter from the city and county will be sent to those in Richardson Park, as well as advertised in the newspaper.
