With over 5,000 pupils enrolled, the largest enrollment in the state, Sheridan county will receive $45,000 from the state common school fund.
Rees Davis of Sheridan, one of the best known labor leaders in Wyoming, died at his home at 1192 Illinois street at 2:45 o’clock this morning, following a long period of ill health.
County commissioners at a meeting yesterday directed the county treasurer to appropriate among the county’s school districts a fund of about $16,000. The money is from fines collected in the county during several years.
