A subsequent investigation resulted in additional video files of child pornography being found on Stuart’s cellular phone following a search of the device by DCI agents. Stuart, on January 10, 2024 was arrested and taken into custody for the alleged crimes.

At an arraignment hearing Thursday in District Court, Stuart pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation of children- possession of child pornography. District Court Judge Darci Phillips scheduled a #2 stack three-day jury trial to begin on July 15. A pretrial conference will take place June 18 at 9 am. If convicted on both counts, Stuart faces up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $20,000.
