The Sheridan City Council at their meeting this week approved a resolution authorizing the submission of an application to the United States Department of Transportation for a “Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity” or RAISE grant in the amount of $1.52 million to fund the planning of the West Side Corridor Expansion Project. What kind of improvement will Sheridan be getting for that kind of money. Is it for the city or is it to build more high dollar housing?
