Incident at mile marker 17 on US 20 26- barricaded suspect

The Wyoming Highway Patrol reports that at approximately 7:48 a.m. Feb. 3, 2024  a Wyoming State Trooper initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle. 

According to a release by the highway patrol, the traffic stop would later call for other emergency personnel to respond and close US 20 26 for a barricaded suspect. 

The suspect was later taken into custody peacefully with no injuries to any involved parties. 

The WHP reports that this investigation is still ongoing at this time.
