The Northeast Wyoming Sage Grouse Local Working Group will hold a meeting 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 25, in Gillette.
Wyoming Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt announced the upcoming meeting during an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse.

The Wyoming Game and Fish operates a hybrid format with participants having the option to join in-person or via Zoom to ensure anyone with an interest can take part. The Zoom link is available by clicking here.
Schmidt said she believes this meeting will review and discuss project funding and other related working group business.

Comprised of local citizens representing groups interested in sage grouse conservation, the role of the group is to develop and set in motion a local conservation plan to benefit sage grouse and, whenever feasible, other species that use sagebrush habitats.
All interested members of the public are encouraged to attend.
To attend in-person, the meeting will be taking place at Peregrine Global Services, 640 N. Hwy. 14-16 in Gillette.
