Story Fish Hatchery collects over 3 million eggs

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department reports that Story Hatchery personnel were busy in the month of October, with all three stocks of fish completing their spawning activities. 

Throughout the month, 1,061,000 brook trout eggs, 572,700 brown trout, 1,000,000 tiger trout, 733,000 lake trout and 370,000 splake eggs were collected. 

The hatchery also hosted personnel from the Idaho Fish and Game Department who assisted with triploiding tiger and brook trout eggs and more than 500 members of the public who toured the facility.
