Tickets on sale now for Mamma Mia!

The WYO Performing Arts and Education Center is now selling tickets to Mamma Mia! 

According to the WYO, the Premiere Performance of Mamma Mia! will be presented at the WYO at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, with encore performances Oct. 15, and Oct. 19, through 22, 2023. 

Directed by Marva Craft, Mamma Mia! features a hit soundtrack by ABBA and tells the hilarious story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. Set on a Greek island paradise on the eve of her wedding, the story brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle audiences will not soon forget.

The Premiere Event will take the place of the annual WYO Gala and will still feature local performers with musical direction by Kathy McNickle and design by Jeannie Hall. 

The Premiere performance will scale down the accompanying events throughout the evening and will instead highlight the excitement of opening night at the WYO Theater complete with champagne.
