Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council will have one item to consider under new business at their regularly scheduled business meeting Monday night. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger talks about third and final reading of ordinance 2269, a franchise agreement with Visionary Broadband.
The franchise agreement establishes a 10-year term, with automatic renewal in successive five-year terms unless 180 days written notice is given by either party in advance of an expiration of the existing term. The agreement also establishes a franchise fee of three-percent of gross revenues from the specific services provided by Visionary Broadband. The City Council will also be considering a resolution to adopt the City’s Wastewater System Master Plan.
Also under new business, the City Council will consider a bid award to Hardrives Construction, Inc, for the 2023 Crack Seal Project in the amount of $98,425.98. The meeting is open to the public and will take place Monday night at 7 in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
