Sheridan WYO Rodeo President reflects on growth through the years 

Sheridan WYO Rodeo Board of Directors President Billy Craft has served on the board for over three decades. In that time, the world has gone wireless, tickets sales have gone digital and in many respects the world has gotten smaller. But, the Sheridan WYO Rodeo has grown both in size and stature, according to Craft.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Craft said the work of the people involved with organizing and delivering the rodeo and events is the driving force behind its growing size and stature. 

Craft said that growth took a sharp upward angle when the Sheridan WYO Rodeo made the decision to change stock contractors.

The Sheridan WYO Rodeo has evolved into a large-scale family event, recognized and sought after by some of the best competitors in the rodeo world. But Craft said all of the work by teams of people through the years is best reflected by the support of the communities in Sheridan County.
