Executive Director for the Museum at the Bighorns, Danielle Stuckle, appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to talk about an upcoming open house event at the museum.

Sheridan residents working in the hospitality, service and tourism industry will get a special day at the Museum at the Bighorns, free of charge.

The open house begins at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 28. Stuckle said that although there is an agenda behind the event – to familiarize residents in these industries with their museum in hopes they will refer tourists to the location – Stuckle said it’s also a great way to open the doors and treat Sheridan residents to a day at their museum.

Residents working the frontlines of local businesses—gas stations, restaurants, hotels, and retail businesses will be able to engage with museum staff to talk about upcoming programs, exhibits, and how visitors can learn more about the culture and heritage of the greater Bighorn Mountain Region.
The day will be free of charge, but the museum does ask those who plan to visit to register for the event.
