Sheridan Commission to Consider Pari-Mutuel Wagering

At Tuesday’s Sheridan County Commission meeting, the commission will consider a Resolution to allow Wyoming Downs, LLC to “conduct pari-mutuel wagering on horse racing, historic horse racing, and simulcast events within Sheridan County.”

The commission is also scheduled to the contract and notice to proceed #1 with Northern Underground, LLC for the Brooks Street Green Space Project.

They will consider a parcel division at 307 Estates, an update to the County Land Use Fee Schedule, an appointment of a special prosecutor, and lease agreements at the county airport.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
