Scholarships are being offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming and Buffalo High School Seniors are eligible to apply.

In a release from the B&G Clubs, the organization announced that students can share personal ethics, describing how ethics have guided and shaped their lives.

BHS seniors can win a scholarship of up to $2,000 which will be credited to the college or trade school of the student’s choice by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming Foundation.

Students must write two essays.

In the first, students must answer, “What are your laws of life, and how have they influenced you? How will your laws of life guide you in furthering your education, and reaching your career goal?”

In the second, students share about their involvement in the Boys & Girls Club as a member, volunteer or other.

Buffalo Boys & Girls Club Branch Director Bonnie Swett said, “We’re so pleased to help high school seniors who have been Club members or were involved in the Club in some way pursue their dreams for their futures. We know that every Club member who walks through our doors has a great future ahead of them, and this Foundation Education Award is just one way the Club can help our students after graduation.”

Those interested in participating should notify (Buffalo Boys & Girls Club Branch Director Bonnie) Swett by email or by phone.
