Sheridan Community Land Trust is hosting a screening of the three-part series, “My Wild Land,” featuring ranches from across Wyoming: the Terry Creek Ranch near Laramie, the Bischoff Ranch near Lovell and the Hellyer family ranch near Lander.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, SCLT Director of Marketing & Development Chris Vrba told listeners a little about the films.
The films share the unique perspective of each landowner. Each film in the series shares the landowner’s relationship to the land, the challenges faced while maintaining cattle operations and promoting wildlife habitat and conservation of both land and lifestyle.
The series will be shown, free of charge, with doors open at 6 p.m. Jan. 25, at the WYO Theater. Appetizers will be served after the screening during a questions and answers session with the filmmakers.
