County Commission Elects Officers, Makes Board Assignments

Johnson County’s Commissioners, at their first meeting of 2023 Tuesday, welcomed new commissioner Jeff Shelley, elected officers, and assigned themselves to the various county boards they serve on.

Commissioner Bill Novotny was re-elected chairman, and Commissioner Bob Perry was elected Vice-Chairman.

Also approved at Tuesday’s meeting were the commissioner’s appointments to boards and commissions, and we have the list below.
