E. F. Ogborn, manager of the Sheridan Sugar company, estimates at least 7,000 acres of sugar beets will be raised in this territory during the coming season.
J. C. McNeal of Minneapolis, Minn., spent yesterday in Sheridan arranging to conduct a drive to secure $500 for the International Christian Missionary association.
The Metz ranch and Adams estate, company-leased farms of the Sheridan Sugar company, will be split up this year and rented in sections to beet growers with a provision that the majority of the irrigable acres be put into beets.
