Aaron PalmerSheridan County’s Commissioners have approved and accepted a Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) from the Wyoming Department of Health’s Public Health Division to assist low income individuals and families to overcome the effects of poverty and support them to greater self-sufficiency.
County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller said the grant is one the county typically sees every year, administered by the Tripartite Board, and explained the use of the funding further.
The Tripartite Board in Sheridan County is also assisting administration of the grant funding for Bighorn County, because they don’t have the staff there to do it, according to Obermueller.
