SPD discuss safe Halloween night and weekend 

Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska and Captain Tom Ringley thanked the community and gave credit to the bar establishments in Sheridan for a great Halloween weekend. 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Koltiska informed listeners Halloween night proved to be good for the kids and the patrol officers on duty. 

The weekend was good for Sheridan bar establishments downtown with full houses of costumes and customers. Ringley credited the establishments and customers with the night’s low DWUI numbers. 

DWUI citations are below where they were this time last year, and the SPD credits responsible servers and patrons taking the time to find safe rides home in a community effort to reduce the risk of what the Chief has called the greatest threat to the safety of Sheridan residents.
