The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce got the approval of the city council for their requests associated with their annual Monster March event coming up on Halloween afternoon.
Pam Day, membership coordinator for the chamber of commerce, spoke to the council at their Tuesday meeting on behalf of the chamber.
Police Chief Sean Bissett was asked if he had any concerns, which he did not, and said he will have officers on hand during the event to handle the closure.
The closure will be on Main Street from Angus to Fort Street from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, October 31.
