Commission Awards Sheriff’s Office/Morgue Contract

Sheridan County’s Commissioners voted to award the contract to remodel the sheriff’s office and build the coroner’s office and morgue.

County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explained that the award is the final step in a two-year process to get the project going.

She said three contractors submitted bids on the project.

The contract amount is for $1.88 million for both projects, according to Obermueller.
