To help educate voters on candidates, the seats they are battling for and how to become registered, a bipartisan website has been developed by a 501(c)3.

Launched on June 27, the site, WY Vote, is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit voter information and education site. The mission of the site is to educate and inform all eligible Wyoming citizens in each election.

Founder, Gail Symons, told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program that she appreciates anyone brave enough to run for any seat, no matter the party or position. Symons also said it is the civic duty of voters to question and challenge elected leaders.

The website has three sections, General Information on registration and voting, Elected Office position descriptions and Ballot/Candidates by county.

The site includes information on how to register, how to and where to vote as well as how to request absentee ballots, and much more. Find WY Vote, by clicking here.

Wyoming voters can submit completed absentee ballots to their county clerk’s office 45 days before Election Day — July 1, for the 2022 primaries and Sept. 23, for the general election.
