A Look Back in Time: Feb. 5, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 5, 1920.

The Green Plumbing and Heating company of Lovell was awarded a contract fior plumbing and heating of the new Central school at the meeting of the school board last night. Their bid was $24,900.

Sheridan business men and boys above 16 are invited to wrestling, singing and a general good time in the basement of St. Peter’s Parish tonight. The event is free and starts at 8 o’clock.

Mrs. Ralph Denio, chairman of the French relief committee in Sheridan, was hostess at a pretty 1 o’clock luncheon at the Sheridan Inn yesterday.

Children’s all-wool sweaters are on sale for $1.50 tomorrow and Saturday at Reed’s.
