Sheridan College will soon have a course that could be considered to some as relaxing.
Beginning fall semester the college will have a Massage Therapy program, which can be completed in 2 semesters.
A college spokes-person says the course has been on hold for 2 years, and will prepare students to take the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination.
Massage therapists are trained to manipulate muscles, relieve pain and stress, rehabilitate injuries and assist in the overall well being of clients.
The classes will also offer off-campus clinical rotations to provide students with diverse settings and learning environments.
