Buffalo Teen Gets Approval for Eagle Scout Project

A Boy Scout has approached the Buffalo City Council to announce her plan for a community project to earn the America Eagle Scout Service Project Award.

Shyann Green, with Boy Scout Troop 415 in Buffalo, explained that she wanted to make safety improvements to the parking area in a portion of Washington Park.

The area of work will be on the train side of Washington Park near the playground equipment.

Green has already received approval from the city street crew and will be working with the city parks foreman on the project, which received the nod and a thank you from the city council.
