Johnson County Approves MOU for COVID Grant Funds

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved and accepted a Memorandum of Understanding between the county and the Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division for COVID-19 related surveillance and testing.

Mechelle Rivera, Nurse Manager at Johnson County Public Health, explained what the funds may be used for.

Rivera said she wanted to see what public health offices in surrounding counties were doing with the funding and then eventually decide how to use the funding in Johnson County.

The amount of the grant award to the county is $25,000 to be used through June 30, 2024.
