JCHC New Chief of Staff Takes Over in January

Current Johnson County Healthcare Center Chief of Staff Dr. Blaine Ruby was absent at the recent board of trustees meeting, and Chairman of the Board Dr. Mark Schueler gave a report to the board in his place.

Dr. Schueler announced that the December meeting would have been Dr. Ruby’s last as Chief of Staff, and that new Chief of Staff Dr. Ryan Ludwig would be taking over the position, and begin attending board meetings in January.

According to the JCHC website, Dr. Ludwig is a a Sheridan native who joined the JCHC medical staff in 2011.

He attended Michigan State University and the University of Wyoming.

He worked in Colorado and Wyoming as a Medical Technologist before attending Medical School, and finished his residency in Family Medicine as the Chief Resident at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Ludwig practices Family Medicine at the Family Medical Center in Buffalo, and enjoys pediatric medicine and caring for families.
