Cheney Not Ruling Out Senate Run

Wyoming’s lone member of the U.S. House of Representatives Liz Cheney will not rule out the possibility of a run at the Senate seat that will be vacated when U.S. Senator Mike Enzi’s current term expires in 2020. Representative Cheney was asked about her decision during a news conference recently. 

The former incumbent of Cheney’s current seat, Cynthia Lummis, is the only well known candidate that has currently announced a bid for the Senate seat in 2020. However, like Cheney, 2018 Wyoming Gubernatorial candidate and GOP donor Foster Friess has not ruled out the possibility of throwing his name into the fray.
